We stopped opening new accounts in July 2010, since when we have closed the vast majority of our Private Banking accounts and transferred all our remaining Structured Deposit Accounts (previously known as “Guaranteed Equity Bonds”) to Close Brothers Limited. On Friday 30th September 2011 we ceased to be a bank and are now known as Dunbar Assets plc.

Open Private Banking Accounts

Sadly, we have not been able to contact all our Private Banking Depositors. So as to protect these monies, we have transfered them to a designated deposit account operated by an independent trust company for safekeeping - The Lawrence Graham Trust Corporation. This is in accordance with the Financial Services Authority’s guidance when a bank seeks to return its licence.
